This is the page where you get a look at the
bluegrass world of Eric Lewis and Kirby Clark!!

Music has been a big part of the lives of  both Eric and Kirby.  Both started at an early age to play music. The group is formed and named in memory of the expedition or journey that Lewis & Clark took in their exploration of the new territory.

Our music is like that expedition they took many years ago.  From the beginning both Eric and  kirby had a fervent love for bluegrass music and with a little influence from many of the names in bluegrass such as Bill Monroe,  Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs and others has brought us to where we have come today.

Eric Lewis was born in a log house on a farm near West Plains, Mo in 1943.  He grew up in West Plains and attended school there. After graduation he went work and also started playing the guitar and attending music parties and in 1962 he was maried and  continued his music and has developed it into a unique and very influencial part of his life.
Kirby Clark was born on a farm in Wright County, Mo near Mountain Grove, Mo and he started playing the guitar at an early age. He developed his own  style of music on the mandolin, fiddle and guitar and with the two, Eric and Kirby have formed the Lewis and Clark Bluegrass Expedition.
